Taking its name from the world famous Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, which lays claim to being England's oldest inn, this is a rich, toffee-flavoured beer bursting with fruity character that is perfectly balanced with a clean, bitter finish.
A tawny amber ale with masses of fruity character from the complex mix of hops including the fragrant Fuggles and blackcurrant and lemon citrus Bramling Cross. Admiral, Pilgrim mix for moderate bitterness and herbal hop and First Gold adding some orange peel citrus. Three malts in the grist adds body and warmth and a biscuity sweetness.

An easy drinking and refreshing IPA. Fresh dry hop, herbal character is provided by the mix of Challenger and First Gold hops. The use of crystal malt in the grist gives a satisfying toffee/caramel note and the addition of a little black malt adds just enough astringency to give a clean, dry finish. The ABV has been reduced from 3.6% due to the recent duty rules.
