We love Galaxy - in fact it’s one of our favourite hops here at NBBHQ so we made a beer exclusively using this rockstar of modern-era hop. Enticingly hazy and soft gold in appearance, the nose erupts with strong citrus, passionfruit, peach and pineapple aromatics. Pillowy soft mouthfeel, with a restrained bitterness on the finish and notes of vanilla. Balanced, smooth and very sessionable.
Although this style of beer is normally associated with the East Coast of the United States, hop production there declined during prohibition so ours is made predominantly with the finest West Coast hops. It’s light and hoppy with a citrus hit and very satisfying.
Brewed and matured for 102 days, about 7 times longer than most other beers and using the finest ingredients: Moravian Malt, Whole cone Saaz hops, Artesian water from a Glacial well directly underneath the brewery and our own strain of yeast. This beer is perfectly balanced and remains independently owned by the Czech people.
