This pale ale is hopped with 9 different types of Kent bred and Kent grown hops in a total of 9 separate additions. Most of the hops are picked and dried at the National Trust's only hop garden in Lamberhurst, Kent by Ian Strang. Ian is one a dwindling number of noble hop growers left in Kent.

On 1st October 1985, founder John Pazio brewed the very first ale from Titanic Brewery - Premium Bitter. This beer went on to become Anchor and was a firm favourite for many years. It was only right that we brought it back in its original form to mark our 40th anniversary. A full-bodied traditional bitter ale with a classic blend of malty and hoppy notes throughout.
